Precision Surgical are proud to announce their 3D Print & Design service for Medical Professionals. We can help from concept to design to rapid prototypes and potentially mass printings if required.
This service originally started to help us to accommodate Surgeons needs when it comes to LED Headlights, Loupes and Wireless Headcams (see our Headlights and Camera Brochure). Due to the Plethora of Surgical Headlights and Loupes, we required a solution to attach our lightweight camera to the Surgeons existing headgear, allowing for optimal position and balance during long procedures.
We have recently upgraded our 3D printer to the commercial Epsilon W50, allowing us to print very small detailed adapters, converters and totally new concepts in real time (well, maybe a few hours), all the way up to larger products requiring rapid prototyping.

Surgical Headcam - International conferencing capable Wireless HD Headcam
Wireless Surgical HD Cam – 22gram camera capable of wireless transmission to HDMI receiver in full 1080P (audio capture can be turned on and off). Our Surgical headcam records video and captures photographs via a wireless remote control in uncompressed MPEG4 (AVI) format, captured in 20 minute segments for easy editing using built in software of MAC and Windows OS. Video conferencing is simple and will work with all platforms (microsoft TEAMS is the most common platform within the NHS). Due to COVID 19, commercial representatives are not allowed to attend surgical lists, our system can allow the surgeon and company rep to communicate live, allowing for guidance with new products and procedures. Precision Surgical adopt Precision Laser marking with 2D GS1 Barcodes.
The retail industry has been using Barcodes for several decades. The pharmaceutical industry introduced similar standards over the last 10 years. The medical device industry has been adopting a more advanced barcoding technology, GS1 Data Matrix. This is a compact, two-dimensional barcode which holds a large amount of data in a small space.
Precision Surgical Ltd is proud to announce fully compliant GS1 and Scan4safety laser mark services. This service is available immediately for easy and transparent traceability of its entire Medical Device range. New equipment bought from Precision Surgical can and will be supplied with an easy to read 2D barcode, inclusive in the purchase price.
We can also provide the option to retro mark any and all existing surgical instrumentation and retractors already in use (for a nominal fee). Additional hospital internal tracking codes can also be applied.
Hospital Trusts and healthcare facilities which are working towards the utilisation of GS1/Scan4safety recommendations (for track and trace, traceability and streamlining of the procurement systems) can contact us for a complete and comprehensive compliant solution.

The New Wireless HD Headcam from Precision Surgical will be launched in October 2019.
Ability to transmit your surgical view wirelessly to a large monitor is one of many features available from this upgraded system.
All video settings can be manipulated to your personal preference (brightness, colour saturation, sharpness, exposure along with many other functions including ability to record audio).
Photo’s and Video’s are stored on micro SD Cards for simple data transfer.
The headcam will run for approximately 4 hours from 2 x 18650 (3,500mah) Lithium Polymer Batteries.
